Sunday, May 3 from 2pm to 5pm
Location: 17 Winter Street, Maynard, MA at the Ice House Landing
We are excited to welcome you to Assabet River Pollinator Fest, an opportunity for our local communities to come together to share gardening wisdom, work together to rewild our spaces, learn principles of beekeeping, and apply the study of fungi to improving the health of thousands of species in our region.
Bailey Thaxton, a local environmental advocate from Maynard, will be sharing the main presentation and the Bay Staters team will present on easy ways to grow edible fungi.
This event is open to people of all background levels, from the most experience gardner and beekeeper who wants to collaborate to someone who knows nothing about any of these subjects.
All ages and stages are welcome as well, and if you have a companion animal who can remain calm during the event they are welcome too.
The event is come and go as you need, though we encourage you to stay the whole time. The presentations will begin at about 2:30, with ample time to meet people and enjoy refreshments before and after.
This event is complimentary. If you wish to donate you certainly can, and it helps amplify our future events. It is not expected at all. Your presence is what matters
If you would like to add this event to your calendar, you can do so here.
If you would like to sign up you can do so here for updates on weather rescheduling (etc) and to learn about future events in your area.
Our poster features The Bee, a Mural in Lowell by Adam O’Day and Felipe Ortiz who generously offered to let us feature it in our promotion efforts.
