Join us on Saturday May 23rd · 2pm SHARP for an opportunity to celebrate nature

Have you ever wanted to meet new friends who love mushrooms? Are you interested in learning to identify mushrooms as a complete newbie or an experienced mycologist?

Then we welcome you and your friends and your family to join us at 250 Fresh Pond Pkwy · Cambridge, MA (Google map link here).

Please show up immediately at 2pm or you could get left behind!

We will have custom Bay Staters Mushroom Guide Books and mushroom grow kits available for donation if you want to support our mission of bringing nature and health education to all.

This walk will be led by our teammate James, an avid mushroom advocate and forager whose focus is not just on identification but also how the mycelial network of mushrooms gives life to our ecosystems. This is a great opportunity to test yourself ahead of time with research, learn from peers, and hopefully make a few great friends out in the Cambridge Highlands.

This event is rain or shine. Mushrooms love the rain!

Please wear comfy, close-toed shoes, wear sunscreen, and bring some water.

This event is fun and accessible for all ages (family friendly).

If you have a disability, we will happily accomodate you: [email protected]

We do not condone removing or disturbing fungi or plants because this is a common rule in many public areas.

Please feel free to sign up here for more updates or add this event to your calendar here.
